The Vauxhall E78 engine ECU is common on modern Vauxhall/Opel petrol applications and is not a simple plug-and-play replacement. The immobiliser data, coding and calibration from the original ECU must be transferred correctly or the car will not start.
We clone the data from your original E78 ECU onto a matching replacement so the car sees the correct identity when the unit is refitted. You can either provide the donor ECU yourself, or ask us to supply a suitable second-hand ECU from stock where available.

If the original ECU data cannot be recovered because the board or memory is too damaged, we will tell you before proceeding. In some cases repair or a different programming route may still be possible, but it has to be assessed honestly on the bench.
